"Parcel" follows the story of Parcel, a package, and his friend Droney, as they seek to find Parcel's destination after an accident with a bird. He lost his address label in the crash. Parcel and Droney wonder the procedurally created city(where every new game has a different label address) and collecting items in order to barter with inhabitants for pieces of Parcel's missing label. Once all (5) of the missing pieces are found, the address is revealed and the duo can locate Parcel's destination. Parcel is then united with his new home.
In this project I was in charge of creating the NPCs and their interactions with the player. I dealt with randomly generating NPCs that will ask for different items every time you play the game. I used scriptable objects to create a variety of NPC types that would also choose from a random list of items wanted vs items needed. After trading them they would offer a new trade with different items.
